Welcome to 1st World Family, LLC Web Site
1st World Family is a vehicle I use to promote my interest in the West African countries of Senegal and Gambia. In the past the major function of First World was producing trips to Africa. Currently the major interest will be to develop two properties in Gambia. The desire now is to act as a beacon for others who may want to visit, invest, repatriate, farm, or live for a couple of months in Africa. I am available to assist anyone who has a well thought out plan and a long term commitment to do progressive work in Gambia. My areas of interest include tourism, small business development in Gambia, property development, transportation, health maintenance, export of cars, farming equipment, and medical supplies to Gambia.
I am still willing to offer the extended stay in Africa. I am currently renting a 4 bedroom house in Gambia. If you are interested in visiting Africa we charge $20.00 per day for a room with bath and meals. Let me know your interest.
I tell people Gambia West Africa has been very good to me. I have been thinking about Africa since the 1960’s growing up in New York City and catching the tail end of the Black Cultural Conscious movement. I want to publicly thank my parents Shirley and Etienne Stout for those sojourns into Jamaica, West Indies and St. Thomas Virgin Islands. It gave me the courage and appetite to view the planet. Next special props to John Watusi Branch of the Afrikan Poetry Theatre a Committed Cultural Nationalist who provided the vehicle for my dreams. Big ups to Jainaba Jallow for holding down Gambia. Finally thanks to all the folks who have traveled with me to Africa. It amazes me when I look at all our true African American Children who have been born through our unions with brothers and sisters on the continent. We have been truly blessed.
For February 2011 we are offering our most successful tour to Senegal. In March is our Women’s History Month tour. Don’t let the name fool you men and children are invited. For this tour you get two weeks for the price of one. A good friend of mines has opened a health spa in Senegal with an African inspired take on health care. We added it to the itinerary.
My current incarnation has been well.
